Opening Night was a blast Thank you all that came out to kick off 2026 with us.
We saw some new winners in different classes to start the year showing us, we should be in for a treat this summer.
NW Racing veteran, 2025 IMCA Stock Car Champion, and 2000 Jim’s 100 winner, Don Jenner, found his way back to victory lane at the Bullring in a different class to start the year. Being the first to claim that spot with the IMCA Modifieds in 2026.
2025 Pure Stock Champion, Brad Hamer, would upgrade his car and move up to the Hillsboro Vac & Sew American Classics after running just one race as the pure stock winners provisional in last years Jim’s 100. He would not take long to prove he can collect wins in the new class, getting it done night #1. Keep an eye on this lightning quick #44.
Last years Rookie of the Year in the Bare Bones Pure Stocks, Brian England, would be victorious for the first time in Main Event action after a tight battle with Marcie Lowe to kick off the year.
Raven Hauling Open 4cyls would see a nice lil bunch of new arrivals hit the track. Including a new winner to kick off our 40th anniversary. Stephen Entler would find his way to the front. Collecting the first win, of I’m sure a few, that he will try to get this year on the 1/4 mile.
Last but not least to the Micro Restricted Division, the biggest car count of the night. As a growing group of Oregon Racers would try and defend the Bullring from a couple racers that made the long haul from Deming Speedway the night before. One of those Long travelers, Hudson Little, would be the winner after competing just south of the Canadian border in Deming, WA the night before.
Special thank you to Simply Pictures by Jennifer Woolf who was there taking pictures all night. Please make sure to support her, whenever you see her at the track.
Up Next Ladies Night. Where all of our wonderful female fans will be $5
