About Eddie
Starting full time racing in 2016 thanks to Doug Pirtle who provided a FWD hornet for me to race @ River City Speedway. The first year out, I captured rookie of the year honors. In 2017, we purchased our own cars and started the Farness Racing team, which consists of our family. in 2017, I captured most improved in the 4-cylinder division as voted on by fellow racers. Picked up my first championship in 2019 @ Willamette Speedway in the Hornets, also capturing 11 wins in total that season. In 2020, we made the jump to street stocks, which would eventually be a shortened season due to covid, and didn't run much in 2021. 2022 was the first full year of street stocks and had a great season capturing 7 top 5s. In 2023 we went on tour with the Iron Giant Street Stock series and finished 2nd place in the points in my first season running the tour. 2024 was a bad year with a lot of DNFs due to mechanical problems, but did pick up my first street stock win on July 4th! In 2025 we set out once again on the Iron Giant Street Stock tour and once again found ourselves in 2nd at the end of the season, but picked up a career high 3 wins on the season in the street stocks! Onto 2026, I am now the Series Promoter for the Iron Giant Street Stock Series, and will be racing locally when the time allows!

2025 Finished 2nd in the points in the Iron Giant Street Stock Series, and grabbed 3 wins total on the season!
