Northwest Extreme Late Model Series Returns To SPP For Round #9

Banks, Oregon- The Northwest Extreme Late Model Series is excited to get back to racing this Saturday July 13th. After an awesome Firecracker 100 on Independence Day the series will visit the Sunset Speedway Park for the sixth time this year for the ninth round of the 2013.
So far Greg Walters leads the win column when the series has visited SSP this year with three victories but Collen Winebarger is at the top of the win chart for overall wins with the tour in 2013 with a total of four visits to victory lane. Jerry Schram is the only other feature winner with his victory up at Grays Harbor late last month.
The Northwest Extreme Late Model Series has visited the Banks bullring a total of fifteen times since the organization’s inception in 2010 with Greg Walters winning the most at nine triumphs. Collen Winebarger has two wins while drivers with just one include Terry Ferrando, Jerry Schram, Russ Sell, and Billy Workman Jr.
Front gates open up at 3:30 PM with racing scheduled to start at 6:00 PM. Admission is Adults $13.00, Seniors/Military $10.00, Children (6-12) $5.00, Children (5 and Under) FREE, and Family Pack (Two Adults and Two Children) $30.00.
The Sunset Speedway Park is located just west of the Portland metro area in Banks on the Sunset Highway. From April until October you can get your racing fix at this facility which competes weekly primarily on Saturday nights. Regular classes in action include the NW Extreme Winged Sprint Cars, IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, 4-Bee’s, NW Extreme Modifieds, and the Womens division.
