Welcome to Sunset Speedway

Welcome to Sunset Speedway, a 1/3rd mile clay dirt track located in Banks, Oregon. The facility is owned and operated by Jerry Schram. There has been a lot of improvements and up-grades throughout the race track and there is more to come. The tracks racing season starts in April and runs through September. Due to the cold evenings, the first half of the race season has been moved up earlier in the day to accomodate the fans. Each Saturday night over 100 cars compete for Champion-ship points in the Late Model, Street Stock, Pure Stock, Modified, 4-Bee, Womens, and Tracer divisions. Sunset Speed-way will host the Gene Romero Flat Track Motorcycles and the DIRTcar NW I-5 Late Model Tour in 2009 as well as the Tractor Pull.
