Banks, Oregon- Sunset Speedway Park will be in action this Saturday July 20th for the annual Dancin’ Bare Topless 100. Also on the card will be the Northwest Extreme Sprints, 4-Bees, and Midgets.
The IMCA Modifieds in 2013 have yet to see a repeat winner. In six events there have been six different victors. That list includes Kenny Miller, Jeremy Martin, Doug Lockwood, Jesse Williamson, Rob Ireland, and last week’s winner Chris Hallberg. Last year’s event was a thriller with Mark Wauge and Robert Jenner battling in the final laps with Wauge securing the lead on lap ninety-four to hang on for the win.
The Northwest Extreme Sprints make their return to SSP. Mitch Hoffses has managed to score three victories while Jake Gilman won the most recent event which took place on June 15th. There has been only one Midget event so far this season and that was won by Pat Bliss.
In the 4-Bees Mike Mastrangelo still leads the division with most wins. Mastrangelo has won three times this year while John Oyler and Jason Blythe have earned two triumphs each. Travis Koch and Gary Meyer are the only one-time winners in the current campaign.
