Northwest Extreme Late Model Series Back In Action At SSP For Les Schwab Tires Night

Banks, Oregon- Fans of the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series will be happy to know that the tour will back in action this Saturday July 27th at Sunset Speedway Park. It will be the tenth race of the current campaign and the seventh even held at the Banks bullring.
Currently point leader Collen Winebarger has the most wins, with five, and a thirteen point advantage over two-time series champ Greg Walters. Walters has won three times in 2013 all of which have come at SSP. Jerry Schram is the only other feature this season with his one win at Grays Harbor Raceway in late June.
The Northwest Extreme Late Model Series has visited the Banks bullring a total of sixteen times since the organization’s inception in 2010 with Greg Walters winning the most at nine triumphs. Collen Winebarger has three wins while drivers with just one include Terry Ferrando, Jerry Schram, Russ Sell, and Billy Workman Jr.
Front gates open up at 3:30 PM with racing scheduled to start at 6:00 PM. Admission is Adults $13.00, Seniors/Military $10.00, Children (6-12) $5.00, Children (5 and Under) FREE, and Family Pack (Two Adults and Two Children) $30.00.
The Sunset Speedway Park is located just west of the Portland metro area in Banks on the Sunset Highway. From April until October you can get your racing fix at this facility which competes weekly primarily on Saturday nights. Regular classes in action include the NW Extreme Winged Sprint Cars, IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, 4-Bee’s, NW Extreme Modifieds, and the Womens division.
