Northwest Extreme Late Model Series Returns To SSP Saturday June 21st

Banks, Oregon- The Northwest Extreme Late Model Series will be back at Sunset Speedway Park for their second visit of 2014 to the “Banks Bullring” on Saturday June 21st. It will be the fifth race of the current campaign for the series. Already it has been an entertaining season with four different winners in as many races.
Shaun Mayea was able to win in the Season Opener at Cottage Grove while Greg Walters was the victor the last time the series was in town for the Spring Challenge. Phillip Johnson picked up the huge win at Madras Speedway and “Superman” Collen Winebarger won in a thriller at Willamette Speedway.
The Northwest Extreme Late Model Series has visited SSP a total of twenty times since the organization’s inception in 2010 with Greg Walters winning the most at thirteen triumphs including the aforementioned triumph at the Spring Challenge this year. Collen Winebarger has three wins while drivers with just one include Terry Ferrando, Jerry Schram, Russ Sell, and Billy Workman Jr.
Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 3:30, and racing starts at 6:00. Tickets are Adults $12.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.For more information log on to www.sunsetspeedwaypark.com.
