NELMS Returns To SSP For Driver Appreciation Night

Banks, Oregon- The Northwest Extreme Late Model Series will pay their final visit of 2014 to Sunset Speedway Park on Saturday August 23rd for the first ever Driver Appreciation Night. Every time the series has visit SSP Greg Walters has emerged victorious.
Walters leads the win list this year with a total of eight main event victories, six of which have been earned at the “Banks Bullring”. Shaun Mayea, Collen Winebarger, and Phillip Johnson are the only other winners in the current campaign.
The Northwest Extreme Late Model Series has visited SSP a total of twenty-five times since the organization’s inception in 2010 with Greg Walters winning the most at eighteen triumphs including the Spring Challenge and Doug Walters Classic this year. Collen Winebarger has three wins while drivers with just one include Terry Ferrando, Jerry Schram, Russ Sell, and Billy Workman Jr.
Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 3:30, and racing starts at 6:00. Tickets are Adults $12.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a Family Pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
