Race fans in the Pacific Northwest were saddened to hear about the loss of Gary Morris. Morris passed away on Sunday December 21st and will be dearly missed. His career included racing on a regular basis at race tracks such as Sunset Speedway Park, River City Speedway, and Portland Speedway as well as occasionally traveling to other regional facilities.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Timber Pub & Grub in Boring on Saturday January 24th. Being that this establishment does have a bar you must be over the age of twenty-one to attend. People that raced or were friends with Gary are encouraged to show up and share stories about him. The get together will begin at noon and will last until 4:00 PM.
