Banks, Oregon- After a big Independence Day weekend the “Banks Bullring” returns to action on Saturday, July 9th for the Baseline Pawn Firecracker 100 presented by 98.7 The Bull. Late Models, Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Bridgeport Logistics Street Stocks, and 4-Bee’s will all be on the card. To cap the whole night off will be a massive fireworks display.
There have been five different winners in as many races in the Late Model ranks at Sunset. Jason Johnson, Jerry Schram, Joey Tanner, Collen Winebarger, and Greg Walters are the 2016 winners so far. Greg Walters is the six-time and defending Firecracker 100 winner including the last three years.
Craig Cassell is still the only driver in the Budweiser IMCA Modifieds to have won more than once. Cassell has two wins while Bubba Foster, Collen Winebarger, Kyle Yeack, and Kellen Chadwick have managed one win each.
Just like in the Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, the Bridgeport Logistics Street Stocks have just one multi-race winner. That man is Arnie Case who has emerged triumphant on five occasions including the last four straight. Benny Sauter, Travis Koch, Roger Hubbard, and Chris West have gotten the job done once.
Tylor Owen has three 4-Bee wins and is the only driver to victory lane more than once. Owen has three wins while William Wolfe and Cody “Maverick” Jones have only one once.
Tickets are Adults $15.00, Seniors/Juniors (13-17)/Military $13.00, Youths (6-12) $8.00, while Kids (5 and Under) are FREE. A Family Pass (2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) will be $55.00 while Premium Seating is $35.00 per seat. Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, and Racing begins around 6:30.
