SSP Has July 15th Modified Topless 100 Next

Banks, Oregon-Sunset Speedway Park returns to racing on Saturday, July 15th, for the Topless Modified 100. This will be the one and only night you will see the Budweiser IMCA Modifieds run without their roofs on. They will compete for one hundred laps and the winner in the end receives $1000.00. Also on the card is the IMCA Sport Mods, Pure Stocks, and 4-Bee’s.
The Budweiser IMCA Modifieds have yet to see a different winner in 2017. Jesse Williamson, Collen Winebarger, John Campos, Kenny Miller, Clark Tenney, Aaron Elwess, and Bubba Foster have all managed to grace victory lane. Miller is the defending race winner of the Topless 100 while a repeat winner has yet to be had for the race. Other former winners include Greg Greer, Mark Wauge, Mark Carrell, Doug Lockwood, and Jesse Williamson.
The IMCA Sport Mods have been dominated by John Henry this season. Henry has four wins while Brian Cooper is the only other winner, with one. Larry Brookshire is the man to beat in the Pure Stock ranks. Brookshire has three wins while drivers who have won once includes Rob Ferree and Tanner Krohling.
Last but not least is the 4-Bee’s. John Gartner is a two-time winner this season while a whole bunch of drivers have managed to win once. Bob Berg, Travis Koch, Corey Watts, and most recently T.J. Wegner have all gotten the job done.
Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, Time Trials begin at 5:30, with Racing kicking off at 6:30. Tickets are $13.00 for Adults and Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00.
