WSS Championship Night Saturday September 9th At Sunset

Banks, Oregon- The final race of the 2017 Wingless Sprint Series season is Saturday, September 9th, at Sunset Speedway Park. The "Banks Bullring" has a long history of Non-Wing Sprint racing and is sure to be another classic.
The WSS has visited the 1/4-mile clay oval on three occasions since last season. In those three events there has been three different winners. Linsday Barney, Wayne Van Raden, and Lance Hallmark have all parked it on the front stretch.
2017 Wingless Sprint Series winners include Rob Lindsey and Kyle Miller who are tied for the most, at three each. Two-time victors include Lance Hallmark and Lindsay Barney while Gary Lynch and Pat Canfield are the only drivers to have won once.
