SSP Highway Heavy Hauling Night Wins Go To Martinez, Zurita, Conroy, Clark, And Little

Banks, Oregon- Sunset Speedway Park would host Highway Heavy Hauling Night on Saturday, June 23rd. Five divisions would all be in action at the “Banks Bullring”. They included the Dwarf Cars, Pure Stocks, 4-Bees, and both Micro Sprint divisions.
Portland’s Ryan Martinez became the newest main event winner in the Dwarf Car ranks. Tim Zurita now has two trips to victory lane in the Pure Stocks and is tied for the most wins this year. Ryan Conroy returned to his winning ways in the 4-Bees and added his sixth win to his already incredible racing season. Becca Clark won her first Micro Restricted main event of 2018 while Deming, Washington native Jeff Little parked it in the winner’s circle for the second occasion in the Micro Open division.
Sunset Speedway Park returns to racing on Wednesday, June 27th for the Wild West Modified Shootout and Saturday, the 30th for the Bobby Morley Memorial. Support class to Modifieds on Wednesday is the Street Stocks. Street Stocks will highlight Saturday night as the winner will collect $650.00 for the Bobby Morley Memorial made possible by Bobby’s father Marty Holmason and family. Other classes include Super Late Models, Pure Stocks, Dwarf Cars, 4-Bees, and both classes of Micro Sprints.
Both nights Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00 with Racing kicking off at 6:30. Tickets are $13.00 for Adults and Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00.
