Sunset Speedway Park Has Thursday July 12th Date With Speedweek Northwest
Banks, Oregon- Sunset Speedway Park will host the third round of the 2018 Speedweek Northwest schedule on Thursday, July 12th The “Banks Bullring” is the smallest and most northern facility that the series ventures to on the campaign. Unfortunately, with the wildfires in Northern California the events on Monday, the 9th, have been cancelled. This year's Speedweek Northwest is presented by BC Motorsports, HighLine Performance, and Champion Racing Oil.
Four times Speedweek Northwest has been to SSP with two different winners. Roger Crockett has the most, with three, while Kyle Hirst has just one. The 2012 was rained out just as the feature was rolling out.
Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, Time Trials begin at 5:30, with Racing kicking off at 6:30. Tickets are $16.00 for Adults and Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $13.00. A Family Pass (Two Adults and up to four Youths) is offered for $55.00 while Premium Seats are available for $35.00 each. Tickets, apparel, and more can be purchased online at www.pnwdirtracing.com .
