July 28th Driver Appreciation Night Next For SSP; Main Events Only

Banks, Oregon- If you like lots of racing and plenty of classes then look no further than Sunset Speedway Park. The “Banks Bullring” will host the 2018 Drivers Appreciation Night and will even have an opportunity for all cars in the pits to come on the track and meet the fans. The track will have a whopping eight classes on tap. Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, 4-Bees, New Bees, and both classes of Micros will be in attendance. Due to so many classes running it will be main events only for the racing program.
Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, with Racing kicking off at 6:30. Tickets are $13.00 for Adults and Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00. A Family Pass (Two Adults and up to four Youths) is offered for $35.00 while Premium Seats are available for $25.00 each. Tickets, apparel, and more can be purchased online at www.pnwdirtracing.com . Willie Sutton, Jason Johnson, and Britton Donahoo are the three winners in as many races in the Super Late Model ranks. In IMCA Modifieds both Jesse Williamson and Greg Walters have two wins each while Aaron Elwess, Trevor LaBarge, Jimmy Schram, and Collen Winebarger all have one victory.
Arnie Case has an incredible record in 2018 winning ten of the eleven shows with Donald Schott the only driver to have beat him thus far this year. Tanner Krohling has three Pure Stock triumphs while Tim Zurita has two. Single race victors include Kendall Lee, Bert Pegg, and Jacob Myers. Ryan Conroy has been quite dominant in the 4-Bees with eight wins to his name. William Wolfe and Travis Koch both have two trips to victory lane over Austin Henderson, Captain Turnabout, and Eddie Farness.
Cutlass Jones leads the win chart for the New Bees with his three trips to the winner’s circle. Dakota Vorseth, Ryan Potter, Barry Cannon, and Tori Chandler all have won once. In the Micro Open 600cc Jeff Little is the only repeat victor, with four, while Jesse Schlotfeldt, Evan Margeson, and Chance Crum have one triumph to their credit. In the Micro Restricteds Allison Johnson is the only driver to have gotten the job done more than once, she has two wins, with Becca Clark, Jesson Jacobson, Jo Jo Batalgia, Dakota Drake, and Lane Taylor all have claimed one victory.
