Saturday August 4th Next For SSP

Banks, Oregon- Sunset Speedway Park returns to racing on Saturday, August 4th. Four divisions are going to be on hand to shred up the clay at the “Banks Bullring”. They include the IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, 4-Bees, and New Bees.
Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, with Racing kicking off at 6:30. Tickets are $13.00 for Adults and Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00. A Family Pass (Two Adults and up to four Youths) is offered for $35.00 while Premium Seats are available for $25.00 each. Tickets, apparel, and more can be purchased online at www.pnwdirtracing.com . In the IMCA Modifieds Jesse Williamson, Greg Walters, and Aaron Elwess are tied on the win list with two victories each. One-time victors include Trevor LaBarge, Jimmy Schram, Collen Winebarger, and John Campos. It has pretty much been all about Arnie Case in the Street Stocks. Case has managed to win eleven races in twelve starts. The only driver to have beaten him is Donald Schott.
Tanner Krohling and Tim Zuirta both have managed to win three races each in the Pure Stock ranks. Jacob Myers and Kendall Lee have won once each. In the 4-Bees Ryan Conroy has visited victory lane the most times on nine total occasions. William Wolfe and Travis Koch are two-time winner over single race victors Austin Henderson, Captain Turnabout, and Eddie Farness. In the New Bee division Cutlass Jones is on top of the win list table with four trips to the winner’s circle. Tori Chandler, Dakota Vorseth, Ryan Potter, and Barry Cannon all have one win each.
