Deering Management Group Open Wheel Frenzy This Saturday August 11th At SSP

Banks, Oregon- Sunset Speedway Park will have the Open Wheel Frenzy, presented by Deering Management Group, this Saturday, August 11th, so if you are into open-wheel racing we have you completely covered. The Wingless Sprint Series, Northwest Focus Midget Series, IMCA Modifieds, and both Micro Sprint divisions will all be on tap. Not only will the Deering Management Group be the event sponsor but bonuses for all trophy dash as well.
Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, with Racing kicking off at 6:30. Tickets are $13.00 for Adults and Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00. A Family Pass (Two Adults and up to four Youths) is offered for $35.00 while Premium Seats are available for $25.00 each. Tickets, apparel, and more can be purchased online at www.pnwdirtracing.com . Saturday marks the only time in 2018 that the Wingless Sprint Series and Northwest Focus Midget Series will be at the “Banks bullring”. In the IMCA Modifieds Greg Walters has three victories to his credit going into the weekend. Aaron Elwess and Jesse Williamson are both two-time winners while Jimmy Schram, Trevor LaBarge, Collen Winebarger, and John Camps have won once.
In the Restricted Micro Sprints Allison Johnson is the only repeat winner, with two trips to victory lane. One-time victors include Becca Clark, Macie Logsdon, Jo Jo Batalgia, Jesson Jacboson, and Lane Taylor. The only repeat winner in the Open Micros is Jeff Little with four visits to the winner’s circle. Josh Thompson, Jesse Schlotfeldt, Evan Margeson, and Chance Crum have one win to their names.
