SSP Set For September 29th Championship Night This Saturday

Banks, Oregon- Sunset Speedway Park has just one last race left in 2018. Saturday, September 29th will see the end of the campaign and has six classes on the card. Super Late Models, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, Dwarf Cars, 4-Bees, and the New Bees will all close out the year.
Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, with Racing kicking off at 6:30. Tickets are $13.00 for Adults and Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00. A Family Pass (Two Adults and up to four Youths) is offered for $35.00 while Premium Seats are available for $25.00 each. Tickets, apparel, and more can be purchased online at www.pnwdirtracing.com . The Super Late Models have just one repeat winner with Joey Tanner scoring two victories to his name. One-time victors include Willie Sutton, Britton Donahoo, Sonny Modaff, Jason Johnson, and John Dees. In the Street Stocks it’s been practically all about Arnie Case. Case amazingly has achieved fourteen wins while Joey Tardio and Donald Schott both have one. In the Dwarf Car ranks Jake Tupper has bested the field on three occasions. Shane Youngren and Josh Rodgers both have two wins to their credit while Ryan Martinez, Jeremiah Hester, and Camron Diatte all have one.
Tanner Krohling has the most Pure Stock wins, at six, while Tim Zurtia has three. Kendall Lee is a two-time winner with both Bert Pegg and Jacob Myers earning one triumph each. Ryan Conroy has had a dominating season in the 4-Bees as he has ten wins. William Wolfe has parked it on five times over three-time winner Travis Koch. Austin Henderson, Captain Turnabout, and Eddie Farness all have won once. Cutlass Jones is the most victorious driver in the New Bees, at four, while Tori Chandler has three. Ryan Potter, Dakota Vorseth, and Barry Cannon are single race winners.
