Sunset Speedway is excited for next Weekend. Saturday, May 25th & Sunday, May 26th is The 5th Annual Spring Challenge Weekend: We will be featuring two action packed nights of racing. IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Mods, Street Stocks, NW Dwarfs, 4-Bee's, Micro Sprints 600cc Restricted, Micro Sprints 600cc Open.
Next weekend we will be starting a few things earlier in the Pits. The back gate will be opening at 1PM - PLEASE get in and sign in with the back gate early so we don't have a long line at the drivers meeting time. The DRIVERS MEETING will be at 4pm please make note of this when you are heading to the track. Please be on time, we need to be strict with timing so we do not go over curfew or have to eliminate laps or dashes. But please be aware, if we lose time WE WILL ELIMINATE DASHES. HELP US by being on time!!!
The map in this story gives you the layout of the entrances and camping areas. There will be NO CAMPING in the pits with individual campers or RVs unless you are towing your race trailer with car OR are able to tandem park your RV in the same slot as your race car. THIS MEANS - NO CAMPERS OR RVS WILL BE TAKING A PIT SLOT. We are very limited on the pit slots for the racers so we please ask if you are bringing an RV or hauler that is not hauling a race car to please not take a race car pit slot. We have camping in the upper parking lot and baseball fields. Which we have reserved ALL for camping, whether that be RV, travel trailer or tent. IF you camp in the baseball fields please park near the park side, NOT the dirt field. ABSOLUTELY NO CAMP FIRES ON THE GROUND. IF YOU BRING YOUR DOG - MUST BE ON LEASE AND CLEAN UP THE POO!!! Also last year there were several people riding atv's and motorcycles around the area, the park has let us know this is not allowed!!!
You may come in Friday night if you want to be early. But please ask for assistance in parking RV or Campers. There will be reserved signs up for drivers who have paid for their reserved yearly slots. DO NOT PARK IN THEM IF YOU ARE NOT THAT DRIVER.

Just 21 miles west of down town Portland on Hwy 6 is the place to be. Racing action that is fun for the entire family!
