Sunset Speedway Park Hosts Kids Night This Saturday August 3rd; Kids 12 And Under getting Into The Races For FREE

Banks, Oregon- After a sensational night of racing last weekend Sunset Speedway Park returns to action on Saturday, August 3rd. The evening plays host to Kids Night, which allows all Children (Ages twelve and under) get into the races for FREE. The IMCA Modifieds, Pure Stocks/IMCA Hobby Stocks, IMCA Sport Mods, and the Big Sky Landscaping IMCA Stock Car Series will all be on hand.
Ticket prices are $13.00 for Adults and Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00. A Family Pass (Two Adults and up to four Youths (6-12)) is offered for $35.00 while Premium Seats are available for $25.00 each. Greg Walters has won five races in 2019 in the IMCA Modifieds. It is by far the most as the only multi-feature race winner is Doug Lockwood, with two. Jeremy Martin and Jerry Schram are the two individuals to have bested the field one time each.
In the Pure Stock/IMCA Hobby Stock ranks, Austin Henderson and Jacob Myers are level pegging in the win column with four triumphs each. Kendall Lee is the lone driver to have won once. Tanner Krohling tops the field in the IMCA Sport Mods with the most wins. Krohling has three visits to victory lane while single race victors include Brad Ruth, Rod Lowe, Ric Fors, and Braedon Hand.
Finally, in the Big Sky Landscaping IMCA Stock Car Series, the tour has visited SSP on three occasions. Donald Schott, Jerry Schram, and Kevin Roberts have managed to taste success on one occasion each. Overall the series has been in action eight total times. Sean Gentry and Jerry Schram are tied for the most wins with series, at two each. Dakota Godard and Brian Cronk are addition one-race winners besides Roberts and Schott.
