Deering Management Group To Sponsor Trophy Dashes At Open Wheel Extravaganza; 50% Of 50/50 Sweepstakes Ticket Sales To Go To Make-A-Wish Foundation

Banks, Oregon- In addition to presenting the 2019 Open Wheel Extravaganza at Sunset Speedway Park, the fine folks at Deering Management Group have some great things up their sleeves. This Saturday, August 10th, they will offer a bonus to all trophy dash winners to add a little cash to their pockets. Also, the group has teamed up with SSP to benefit a great cause, the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Half of all 50/50 ticket sales will go to Make-A-Wish in honor of a fallen racer with the Thompson Motorsports team, T.C. Miller. Unfortunately, T.C. lost his third bout to cancer at the age of thirty-three on August 20th of last year. Josh Thompson has been racing the #3 Micro Sprint in his honor. The Miller family was involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation during T.C.’s lifetime, and the folks at Deering are excited to share his great story of courage and determination.
Deering Management Group will be teaming up with Make-A-Wish during the evening to conduct the 50/50 sweepstakes. They will journey throughout the facility both in the grandstands and the pit area selling tickets throughout the night. In addition to the 50/50 drawing, there will be additional prizes given away via ticket drawings. These include five Sunset Speedway Park hooded sweatshirts purchased by the fantastic people at Deering and Thompson Motorsports.

Ticket prices are $13.00 for Adults and Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (6-12) $5.00, and Kids (5 & Under) are FREE. A Family Pass (Two Adults and up to four Youths (6-12)) is offered for $35.00 while Premium Seats are available for $25.00 each.
