Sunset And Cottage Grove 4-Bee/Hornets To Become IMCA Sport Compacts In 2020

Things will be changing up a bit for Sunset Speedway Park and Cottage Grove Speedway. Come 2020 both facilities will be turning into the IMCA Sport Compacts. This will put their classes to the national standard of rules. A set of rules can easily be found on the IMCA website at https://www.imca.com/rules/sportcompact/.
Sunset Speedway Park has two four-cylinder classes, the 4-Bees and New Bees. Cottage Grove Speedway has their Hornet division. It is a great way for drivers with little to no experience to get started in racing and not break the bank.
A very cool thing about the introduction of this class is that drivers are eligible for track, state, and national point funds. Members also get the benefit of extra insurance by joining IMCA.
